Kelly Malone has seen a lot for her years. Traveling and living all over the world with the most fascinating of people has fueled an intense and memorable voice and songs deeply resonant with her experiences and observations.

Well known in Melbourne for her distinctive vocal and guitar technique, Kelly has always been a stand out live performer, as well as founding and hosting the city’s best acoustic night for many years.

Her acoustic roots were captured perfectly on the “Shifter” EP, before her search for a broader sound led her to collaborate with England’s best kept musical secret, Mood Bungalow, to produce her debut album. Their grasp of layers, texture and atmospherics created an incredible juxtaposition for Kelly’s earthy voice and songs, resulting in an album some are calling a collision between Joni Mitchel and Sigúr Ros.
